I undergo the name P. R. Acharya and I am an M. Com.
I have been teaching spoken English and English grammar for the past 20 years and have written 4 books and working on my 5th book on basic English vocabulary. They are, ‘Learn Good English through Kannada’ which is on spoken English, ‘Learn English Grammar through Kannada’ which teaches how to teach as well as answer questions on English grammar covering 5th standard to degree examinations; another book on common errors entitled ‘Check Your English’. My fourth book is on spoken Kannada is ‘Learn Kannada through English’ which is meant for those who come to Karnataka for jobs/ business/ living etc. and find it difficult to interact with the localites in Hindi or English and need to learn Kannada.
My book on spoken English, ‘Learn Good English through Kannada’ has been appreciated by the then honourable education minister of Karnataka, Mr. Kimmane Rathnakar and was considered to be a good book for learning English by Mr. K. S. Sathyamurthy, the Commissioner of Public Instruction, Karnataka during 2014-15. Their circular Nr.C(4)2pra.sha.shi.kha.anu.15/2014-15 dated 22.12.2015 directs the Deputy Directors of Public Instruction to advise the heads of all government institutions to buy this book for their libraries.
All my first three books have been serialized for the number 1 Kannada newspaper ‘Vijayavani’ since July 2013 through an article named ‘Halli Mestru – Kannadadalle English Kalike’ for the past 5 years and has got great reviews from teachers, tutors as well as students and people who have craze for learning English. My first book was serialized for ‘Vijaya Karnataka’s Mangalore edition during 2002 but just for 80 installments.
I have been freelancing teaching and corporate training and train people on communication skills and memory skills through boot camps; Work as a resource person teaching spoken English and English grammar through workshops especially for teachers and lecturers, and for executives, officials, and business people and so on.
I am keen in making you a competent and confident speaker of English. You’ll start speaking just after watching my 5 hour’s video classes. My desire is to make each and every Kannadiga able to converse in English like our mother tongue Sirigannada and triumph over the people of other states !
